Organic wine certified by FR-BIO 10.Descending from an old Provençal lineage, the Sumeire family has been established in Trets, at the foot of the Sainte-Victoire mountain, since the 13th century. We owe the foundation and expansion of our wine-making estates last century on several sites in Provence to my grand-father, Gabriel Sumeire.

The winter, rather soft altogether, was marked however by particularly cold episodes, in particular in February, and we had twice some snow. The spring was suitably watered, stormy and rather freshly. The blooming began May 15th and suitably took place. The warm and dry summer settled down in mid-June, favoring a good maturation of the grape. The "véraison" began July 16th. The harvest began on August 23rd and ended on September 25th. Hand-harvested and carefully sorted with a light pressing to maintain maximum delicateness and aroma.

General Market

This delicate wine should be drunk around 14°C. Lovely for the aperitif. It is also a perfect match for white sauces, fish dishes, smoked salmon, soufflés and Asian cooking.
