90-92 points Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate

Located in the rare setting of the nearby Dentelles de Montmirail, the vineyards of Bois de Menge create their nectar from a unique terroir combining history and wealth. Dark ruby red color. Limpid and brilliant. This wine has soft smooth and velvety tannins. Intense nose of undergrowth, violet, clove and tobacco. Fleshy in the mouth, a spicy and harmonious length.

Mechanical harvest. Good phenolic maturation of the harvest. Traditional, long maceration.
