A Plume Ridge Exclusive! Sparkling wine from a small appellation in the Rhone Valley called Die. (Pronounced "dee"). Made from hand picked Muscat and Clairette grapes and vinified by the ancestrale method. This "Cuvee Imperiale" is made from the best blends and top cuvees specially selected by their cellarmaster.
The region where this wine is made is in a mountain sheltered valley. The vineyard is made up of chalky clay soil in small plots, rising up to some 700 meters above sea level.

According to the vintage, the harvest which takes place within the famous ”Entre-deux mers” area, can start from the end of August and last up to 4 to 5 weeks.

Lustrous pale gold with fine bubbles. Aromas of lychee, white tea leaves and citrus zest. On the palate it is has a nice creaminess, good balance combining freshness and elegance. Low alcohol 7% Alc. Content. Fruity but not too sweet, this is a fresh, crisp wine, ideal as an aperitif but equally delicious with rich foods and dessert. |
