Chateau Labrousse: 59 hectares situated at Saint Martin Lacaussade (50 kilometers from Bordeaux). Château Labrousse is a wonderful property which originated in the 19th century. Bought in 1991 by Jacques and Florence Chardat, the vineyard is located 40km north from Bordeaux, along the Gironde Estuary, on the right bank facing Médoc’s Grands Crus Classés. The vines planted on a clay-limestone terroir of the first hills bordering the river, enjoy mild temperatures and an extraordinary brightness.
A well balanced wine with good oak integration. It reveals a beautiful red color with a complex nose. In the mouth it reveals generous notes of red fruits such as cherry, blackcurrant and blueberry.

After de-stemming, berries are selected on a sorting table. Tradition Bordeaux methods for red wines in temperature controlled vats. Around 20 days of maceration to extract the color and aromas - then aging in oak barrels.
